The Event (Pacquiao vs Clottey)

As the countdown drawing near to "The Event" the pride of the Philippines Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao will defend his WBO welterweight belt against a naturally bigger fighter Joshua "The Hitter" Clottey from Ghana on March 13, 2010 at the Dallas Cowboy Stadium. For the information of some, there is no catch weight on this fight, it is set to the limit of 147 pounds, meaning after weight in Clottey may will fight the Filipino at a whopping 157 pounds. That will be a big factor for the Pacquiao team to consider. Not only bigger, Clottey is a hitter, He can punch and can certainly put up a fight.

What is the determining factor for Manny?

Once again I believe it will the tremendous speed and accuracy of Manny, combined with power, that's a winning card altogether. Not to mention the stamina that Manny has, Clottey will not survive 12 rounds if he will fight with Paquiao's pace. Manny will not go for the body, he will punish Clottey in the head and may will knock him out in the middle rounds. I am sure it will a great fight between these two warriors.

Pacquiao has a record of 50-3, 2 draws and 38 KO's, and Clottey has 35-3 and 21 via KO's.

What's next for Apple for this decade?

The year it all started was 2007, ever since Apple aimed big and even bigger.

iPhone 4G, More Advance but Cheaper?

Great news for all, the latest rumors is that Apple will release the next generation iPhone sometime in June 2011. If you have been using Apple's product then you might be familiar with their marketing strategy, I am talking about the price drop when a new product-line comes in or the latest model of such hardware. Apple will likely to subsidize the new iPhone to lure new customers and to retain the current ones.

What to watch......

Since the release of the first iPhone mid 2007 it has been a battle of contentment and satisfaction with the device capability and hardware armory. If Apple will indeed release the 4th generation iPhone, we will be looking more on the specifications the will be real head turner. At least 5 mega pixel camera, WiFi N, an A4 chip clocked at 600MHz, or even faster, and AMOLED touchscreen from Samsung, much bigger memory 32gig up, a built in FM radio, a front facing camera and the most important thing that I will be keeping an eye on is the battery time, software will not be enough for this specs Apple has to come up with a better physical battery to address the demand of all iPhone users which is a BETTER BATTERY TIME....

What about the data contract? Well I guess it will change, O2-UK already started some changes. The data traffic from iPhone devices will be considerably considered. I am just hoping that the unlimited data will not cost a fortune and FCC will favor the consumer rather than Apple and the TelCom.

Is Apple Winning the Battle for iPhone?

October 2009 a new batch of iPhone 3Gs came to the market, silently and with a new hardware. I'm talking about the new bootrom for 3Gs, for some it is such a difficulty especially those who wants to unchain from Apples choking and ridiculous policy.

Undoubtedly the Dev-Team has been working on this round the clock or are they? The cat and mouse game can be very tiring, it has been like this since mid 2007 when the first iPhone was born. There are factory unlocked iPhone in the market available to some countries but a country like America where legal unlock is not possible yet they rely on jailbreaking to unlock the device. It has been 3 months now and non of the hackers has come up with a straight forward jailbreak on the latest firmware and exploit on the latest 3gS bootrom.

The Dev-Team's 24kpwn exploit is no longer effective, the iPhone has somehow gain an immunity to it. There are news that Geohot and MuscleNerd has been talking over the irc channel regarding a possible exploit. We'll see what they got in a few weeks or months. For now be wary on upgrading to the new firmware if you care about your unlock.

Read here for the latest news regarding the unlock and jailbreaking.
