Pacquiao-Clottey Fight Dissected....

Once again Manny Pacquiao showed his impressive talent and boxing skills against Clottey. For some it was boring, but for me it was as excited as ever and a total domination by Manny against a legitimate Welterweight, bigger, taller, stronger fighter. As the news echoes to all corners of the planet, write-ups, and blogs (like this one) sprung the cyber space like China and India's population combined... Manny has done it again in a very intimidating fashion.

Now, what is really boring?

I beg to disagree, Clottey performed better than Dela Hoya, Hatton and Cotto. What happened was.... it was just too overwhelming for Clottey. They said that Manny maybe a little bit distracted during the training camp due to his political aspiration, movie career and being a rock star (lol). In the fight it was evident that Clottey was the one who wasn't prepared for all of it. Clottey was reduced to a sparring partner or even worst a punching bag for that matter... WHY? simply because Manny was the more prepared fighter in all aspects of his being. Physically he is like a Tasmanian devil, a Siberian husky who seems can box all night long. Psychologically, even more equip with his faith and ever more focus for that fight. A welterweight would throw and average of 50 punches per round, Clottey's average on that fight was 30-35. Pacquiao on the other hand relentlessly exploded 90+ punches per round, and this is the guy who started at 106 lbs. In the 12 rounds Manny threw over 1,200 punches.....whooooo I think that's the most punches his ever thrown in his whole boxing career. Manny has to do that to win the fight because Clottey was not punching, he just stood there being too conservative and yet cautious for he knew Manny can knock him down easily if he didn't.

Some did appreciate Clottey for surviving and for being a good sport. But, I don't----- for god sake, that was a championship fight. Yet Clottey did not even act like he wants the belt or Manny was just too much for him? the later maybe will be the closer answer. From round 1 until the end of the fight Manny was saying..."you are not having my belt, if you want it come and beat me"....that's the attitude of a TRUE champion. Even though he was clearly winning he did not stop, the hunger, the heart was there and that's a champion from inside out. Manny even acted like that he was the challenger and Joshua????, well,,,disappointing....

What did we witnessed?

Plainly the majestic talents on Manny Pacquiao, and we can see that it is not powered by Performance Enhancement Drugs as the delusional Mayweather's claimed. It remains to be seen who can unseat Manny Pacqauiao on his insurmountable throne, if no one can level Pacquiao's game plan, it seems that all,,,, is just another antagonist's fantasy.

Without a doubt, Manny Pacquiao, is the most excited, developed, talented, promising and unbelievable specimen in modern boxing, the best of the best, and it is what it...... We will see the outcome of Mayweather-Mosely fight, maybe one of them can steal the spotlight (which I doubt). But one thing we DO KNOW, it was not and will never be Joshua Clottey.
