What Manny Pacquiao Has Become
Last Saturday 13th of November, 2010 Manny Pacquiao has cemented himself as the greatest boxer, fighter ever in the world of boxing. Dallas Texas cowboy stadium, the thousands people inside it and the millions watching around the world witnessed the superb physical attributes of the Pacman. The massacre of Antonio Margarito started from the sound ding until the 12th round for vacant junior welterweight championship. Months before scheduled and during the hype of the fight speculations were worrying for Pacquiao but, as the event drawing near the confidence from team Pacquiao emerged with boldness and authority and was displayed in the ring on fight night. Margarito was simply out manuevered , out smarted, out lasted, out boxed. Pacquiao was just too fast and too strong for the Mexican which did not surprise me in any fashion whatsoever. On the other hand I was surprised with Margarito's determination to redeem himself from a disgraceful hand wrap scandal. He kept on moving forward, putting pressure on Pacquiao hoping he can trap him on the rope and unleash his barrage of body shots to disable the pride of the Philippines. But again just like the previous opponents of Pacquiao who failed, Margarito succumbed to the same fate and wasn't winning a single round of the fight. In the second half of the fight, Pacquiao's power and staggering stamina was just starting in 3rd gear, Margarito's right eye looks like a beaten tacos, about to pop any moment. In the 12th round, I was personally frustrated during the fight, I wanted Manny to beat the hell of Margarito until he drops dead, during HBO Pacquiao-Margarito 24/7 the Margarito team acted like imbeciles, ridiculing Manny Pacquiao himself. But, once again Pacquiao surprised me and the world, he showed mercy and sportsmanship in the highest level, he just played Margarito and let him finished the 12 rounds without hurting the Mexican further. That night----- that was not the Manny Pacquiao I knew since 1995, not the brutal, barbaric Pacquiao that just want to kill any boxer in front of him in the ring. This is a new Pacquiao (I murmured), true indeed, new facets of Manny that I did not see as a boxing fan. A matured, polished, classy, intelligent, and truly a man with an enormous heart inside or outside the ring. I wasn't sure if that was the congressman Manny Pacquiao having influence on the boxer/fighter Pacquiao that night, one thing for sure Manny has become something in that fight night....... Not only the first boxer to win 8 titles in 8 weight classes, not only the boxer that single handedly carried the reputation of boxing as a sports, but a person that otherwise respect his opponent even in victory and showed that though a boxer, not a killer. That for me is what Manny Pacquiao has become over the years. Congratulations Manny and family, Philippines and to those who love boxing. - Posted from my iPhone

Internet Sharing over WiFi on Windows XP
Hardware Requirements:
* Laptop or Desktop with WiFi card. Most laptops and netbooks already have WiFi built-in. This PC will act as the host PC that will share its 3G internet connection.
* 3G modem connected on your PC's USB port. For this article, I used Huawei E220 on Sun Broadband Wireless.
* Another laptop, WiFi-enabled desktop, or any other wifi-enabled device such as the iPhone, PSP, or iPod touch. In my previous experiments, my MacBook was able to successfully connect to my honey's ad hoc network.
Now that you have the hardware ready, it's time to get your hands dirty (well, not really. It is as easy as 1-2-3):1. Enable Internet Connection Sharing. To do that, go to Network Connections and locate your 3G internet connection's dialer. Right click and select properties. From the properties window, select the Advanced tab. Tick the check box for to enable Internet Connection Sharing. Select Wireless Network Connection to enable sharing via WiFi.
2. Create a wireless computer-to-computer network (also known as ad-hoc network). At the taskbar, right click on your the Wireless Network Connection icon. A window opens to let you choose a wireless network. On the left side of the window, click on the "Change advanced settings" link. You will be directed to the Wireless Network Connection Properties window. On this window, click the Wireless Network tab. Click the Add button to create a new wireless network. Make sure you tick the check box at the lower left side of the window to make your new wireless network an ad hoc (computer-to-computer) network. Adding network security protocols are optional but recommended.
3. And that's it! Now go get another PC, Mac, PSP, iPhone, iPod touch, or whatever, and connect to the new ad hoc network you just created.
There you have it. Everytime you connect to your Smart Bro, Globe Broadband Tattoo (formerly Globe Visibility), or Sun Broadband Wireless, any device that accesses your ad hoc network will have access to the internet as well. Happy Internet Sharing! :)How to Activate FaceTime on Unsupported Countries [Middle East]

Hostage Taker's (Capt. Mendoza) Interview on RMN (DZXL)
With all the shenanigans surfaced in the past days regarding the handling of the hostage crisis, with all the lies of some people involved and the cover up, the voices on the recordings makes me even more angry. President Aquino FAILED on this one, he showed no leadership and shaky foundation as a chief of staff of the Philippines.

Apple's Mediocre Replacement Unit
The one on the right is the replacement, you can clearly see the dull almost yellow color. The genius bar guy also agreed and decided right away to change the unit because I wasn't happy at all. It seems rediculous that Apple would give you a mediocre replacement be it under warranty or Apple care claim but they do so, it's up to us to be vigilant and make sure we are happy with the device. - Posted from my iPhone

How To Make Micro Sim For iPhone 4/iPad (DIY)
Upon having my iPhone 4 three days ago I had to result to DIY to use the phone. I know you can buy sim cutter but I don't want to because I will never use it again and it will just be a waste of money.
So here we go... Now first we have to know the measurements on the micro sim. Not all sim card are the same, the metal part comes in different sizes depending on its capability or the time you've been having it.
micro sim measurements: width = 12mm length = 15mm
Let's start the fun.
These are the tools I used to make my life easier, the most important is the Blade 11 surgical knife or the equivalent. I never use scissors cause they can ruin your sim if you are not careful in cutting and they don't give precision cut. Measure 1mm from the 3 sides of the sim excluding the curved side. Use the tip of your cutting device as a marker not a pen or a pencil if you want a precise cut. After making a line on the sides, now measure 15mm/1.5cm form the bottom of the sim after the 1mm measurement and cut. Now for the curve side. Now file the edges, I used fine metal files but you can also use fine sandpaper. Don't over do it and occasionally put in the sim tray to achieve a perfect fit. And now the fitting, also take a look the metal plate they are different, the Globe sim it quite old and the O2 sim is more recent but it still works. You can now test the sim card, if it works----well done and enjoy but, if doesn't then just do it again.July 11, 2010
You Are My Boss
A new President, a new government? I doubt it---- I maybe a doubting Thomas but I am no stupid. To start-- who is Pres. Aquino? What has he done? What kind of leader is he?---- Noynoy Aquino is what I call a modernized traditional politician no difference at all to the rest of the politicians in the Philippines who suck the blood of the country in corruption like a hybrid leech without contentment. During his inaguaral speech Aquino inspired the masses, awaken the snoozing Filipino political interest, re-captured the imagination of a new and better country and most of all scared the hell out of the corrupt incumbent politician infact some resigned before his first podium engagement. As he utter the words "kayo ang boss ko" you are my boss, the cacophony of peoples enthusiasms displayed in shouting, chanting and hand clapping echoed to the rest of the world where every Filipino can hear. It was a very simple yet strong and powerful words a very precise words constructed by Aquino to make an impact and get the people's attention. Aquino has a very difficult job to do--no doubt. But with the people behind him it should make him stronger. He act as an example, act like a normal citizen by using his common sense of changing some traffic rules that's been irritating commuters for ages----people was impressed. Personally I wasn't able to vote nor vote for Noy noy but that is beside the point, we have a new President now, we have a new hope and a new inspiration for a better Philippines. The era of rampant corruption has come to an end ( Gloria Arroyo ), the transition has started --- awaiting is the nation building from scratch. All the aspirations and changes that we eagerly been dreaming hopefully will materialize this time for the Filipinos and the Philippines. These will not happen overnight and there is no magic potion either. That's why I am still a doubter, but i would love to be proven wrong. *Posted from my iPhone

iOs4 Software Unlock Carrier Logo Fix on 3gs
Now, as the movement continues for freedom---iPhone freedom. The Dev Team released their their tools for jailbreaking and unlock at the same time with some caution regarding your baseband status. The issue for me happened as normal after jailbreaking. I used Pwnage 4.01 for my 3gs on ios4. Pwnage has an unknown big that will vanished the carrier logo be it hactivated or not. I tried both to confirm--- making CFW for iOs4 and indees the same result. Let say you're on legit network, and you've used CFW for iOs4-- activated through iTunes. Everything well fine, except the carrier logo, you can make calls and all so it's not a problem after all, or you can use "Make it Mine" utility from cydia to kind of fix it. But, behind your head you know that it was'nt the case. This is my first time to experienced this carrier logo disappearance, now the ultimate fix of that issue is to install "Ultrasn0w" the very light injection of codes to unluck you iPhone. Even if you uninstall untrasn0w after the carrier logo fix it will stay like that. Kudos as always to the Dev Team for their hardwork and dedication for the iPhone community. - Posted from my iPhone

Pacquiao-Clottey Fight Dissected....
Once again Manny Pacquiao showed his impressive talent and boxing skills against Clottey. For some it was boring, but for me it was as excited as ever and a total domination by Manny against a legitimate Welterweight, bigger, taller, stronger fighter. As the news echoes to all corners of the planet, write-ups, and blogs (like this one) sprung the cyber space like China and India's population combined... Manny has done it again in a very intimidating fashion.
Now, what is really boring?
I beg to disagree, Clottey performed better than Dela Hoya, Hatton and Cotto. What happened was.... it was just too overwhelming for Clottey. They said that Manny maybe a little bit distracted during the training camp due to his political aspiration, movie career and being a rock star (lol). In the fight it was evident that Clottey was the one who wasn't prepared for all of it. Clottey was reduced to a sparring partner or even worst a punching bag for that matter... WHY? simply because Manny was the more prepared fighter in all aspects of his being. Physically he is like a Tasmanian devil, a Siberian husky who seems can box all night long. Psychologically, even more equip with his faith and ever more focus for that fight. A welterweight would throw and average of 50 punches per round, Clottey's average on that fight was 30-35. Pacquiao on the other hand relentlessly exploded 90+ punches per round, and this is the guy who started at 106 lbs. In the 12 rounds Manny threw over 1,200 punches.....whooooo I think that's the most punches his ever thrown in his whole boxing career. Manny has to do that to win the fight because Clottey was not punching, he just stood there being too conservative and yet cautious for he knew Manny can knock him down easily if he didn't.
Some did appreciate Clottey for surviving and for being a good sport. But, I don't----- for god sake, that was a championship fight. Yet Clottey did not even act like he wants the belt or Manny was just too much for him? the later maybe will be the closer answer. From round 1 until the end of the fight Manny was saying..."you are not having my belt, if you want it come and beat me"....that's the attitude of a TRUE champion. Even though he was clearly winning he did not stop, the hunger, the heart was there and that's a champion from inside out. Manny even acted like that he was the challenger and Joshua????, well,,,disappointing....
What did we witnessed?
Plainly the majestic talents on Manny Pacquiao, and we can see that it is not powered by Performance Enhancement Drugs as the delusional Mayweather's claimed. It remains to be seen who can unseat Manny Pacqauiao on his insurmountable throne, if no one can level Pacquiao's game plan, it seems that all,,,, is just another antagonist's fantasy.
Without a doubt, Manny Pacquiao, is the most excited, developed, talented, promising and unbelievable specimen in modern boxing, the best of the best, and it is what it...... We will see the outcome of Mayweather-Mosely fight, maybe one of them can steal the spotlight (which I doubt). But one thing we DO KNOW, it was not and will never be Joshua Clottey.

iPhone 4G, More Advance but Cheaper?
Great news for all, the latest rumors is that Apple will release the next generation iPhone sometime in June 2011. If you have been using Apple's product then you might be familiar with their marketing strategy, I am talking about the price drop when a new product-line comes in or the latest model of such hardware. Apple will likely to subsidize the new iPhone to lure new customers and to retain the current ones.
What to watch......
Since the release of the first iPhone mid 2007 it has been a battle of contentment and satisfaction with the device capability and hardware armory. If Apple will indeed release the 4th generation iPhone, we will be looking more on the specifications the will be real head turner. At least 5 mega pixel camera, WiFi N, an A4 chip clocked at 600MHz, or even faster, and AMOLED touchscreen from Samsung, much bigger memory 32gig up, a built in FM radio, a front facing camera and the most important thing that I will be keeping an eye on is the battery time, software will not be enough for this specs Apple has to come up with a better physical battery to address the demand of all iPhone users which is a BETTER BATTERY TIME....
What about the data contract? Well I guess it will change, O2-UK already started some changes. The data traffic from iPhone devices will be considerably considered. I am just hoping that the unlimited data will not cost a fortune and FCC will favor the consumer rather than Apple and the TelCom.

Is Apple Winning the Battle for iPhone?
October 2009 a new batch of iPhone 3Gs came to the market, silently and with a new hardware. I'm talking about the new bootrom for 3Gs, for some it is such a difficulty especially those who wants to unchain from Apples choking and ridiculous policy.
Undoubtedly the Dev-Team has been working on this round the clock or are they? The cat and mouse game can be very tiring, it has been like this since mid 2007 when the first iPhone was born. There are factory unlocked iPhone in the market available to some countries but a country like America where legal unlock is not possible yet they rely on jailbreaking to unlock the device. It has been 3 months now and non of the hackers has come up with a straight forward jailbreak on the latest firmware and exploit on the latest 3gS bootrom.
The Dev-Team's 24kpwn exploit is no longer effective, the iPhone has somehow gain an immunity to it. There are news that Geohot and MuscleNerd has been talking over the irc channel regarding a possible exploit. We'll see what they got in a few weeks or months. For now be wary on upgrading to the new firmware if you care about your unlock.
Read here for the latest news regarding the unlock and jailbreaking.
