Bose On Ear Headphones Repalcement

I just got my Bose On Ear Headphones replacement after 3 days of waiting for them to decide on the warranty cover. My first one was bought December 2008, it was fine, no problem with it at all sound wise apart from the left headphone which became a bit loose and funny. This side of the headphones can turn a full 360º, it is still very tight but there is stopper anymore. After scrutiny by the Bose people, they realize that it could be a factory defect so then they replaced it. I noticed that they have made a few changes on it. The joint mechanism looks and fells more tougher, in fact it feels more stronger compare to the original one that I had. Whether they've changed the inside (plastic to metal component) I don't know. But, I can see a metal bar on the hinges side. Maybe Bose did listend to some complains. The case is tougher and slimmer, One thing I hate is they removed the outside pouch of the case which is very useful for keeping the extra cable. I don't know for how long this will survive on me, will certainly find out and keep you posted.
