DIY, protecting your magsafe DC connector

I had about 30min free time so I decided to make a sort of a protection for the Magsafe DC connector since this one of the areas that is very prone to wear and tear and even breakage. For this one I used a spare usb insulator (male connector side) to extend the handling and for protection. This seems ok to use Now cut the wire and start separating the black plastic cover from the actual metal usb port. I used my swiss army knife. Now try to fit just to make sure that it will look ok. At this point, I used glue gun as an adhesive, it's easy to apply and easy to remove as well. Fill the inside, be generous stuffing the inside. Warning: use protective gloves when stuffing. It should look like these when the glue is cooled. Get rid of the extra glue and it should look like this. Now the final product, after mins of hardwork. Now you have a cheap extender for extra hold. You can cover it with anything you want. I covered mine with red electrical tape. Hope this helps :))
